Origami Pattern Series

This is an ever-expanding series of origami papers. The patterns are inspired by the time I’ve spent living in Japan.

Daruma Pattern

This pattern is inspired by a traditional Japanese doll called the Daruma. Daruma’s eyes are blank, when the owner makes a wish or goal they paint in one of the eyes. When the wish or goal comes true they paint the remaining eye.

Sakura Festival Pattern

This pattern is inspired by the Meguro River Sakura Festival in Tokyo. Once a year in Japan the sakura bloom and are celebrated across Japan with delicious treats, lanterns and flower viewings.
